I've got many names, all of them references. I could name it Argama, Minerva, Ptolemy, Yamato, Freeden, Cathedral Terra, Exelion... Although, it'd probably be a situational thing as to what I call it if you don't name it in-game.

My rule for every game with ships
Impenetrable/Conqueror/Vengeance/Vigilance for Capital Ships.
Avatar/Striker/Enforcer/Glorious for larger frigates/cruisers.
Deadly/Hawk/Onslaught/Razor for small fighters/frigates.

The Star Destroying Dildo - or something to the same effect. The ship has got to boast a ridiculous name, "Quick cap'in. Back to the Monstrous Apple Pie!" Would certainly confuse enemies on the plains of Erotic Stair Lift VII.

Good question. Certainly wouldn't be "The Kestrel" as that ship is prone to exploding violently. Maybe Mythos?
