Name yer Ship

Welp, being that this is a space game we're gonna have ships. Now, the single most important thing about your ship is what you name her, so bring it people, what are you gonna name your ship?


As for my own ship name...well, I'll get back to you on that, I've got to put more thought into it.

 

Sleipnir, the name of Odin's horse in norse mythology. Or, Ursa minor-minor.

 

Serenity.

 

Rakelia. Illadoria. The Vulpix. Dunno, random stuff.

 

Personally, I think it depends on the ship type (I'm assuming that you can change the visuals of the ship). I try to stay away from anything unrelated to its physical appearance. I'm okay with vague references too, I suppose.

That being said, I really hope they let you name things, not just a spaceship, but guns that you own, or mounts that you ride. I'd think a lot of people are attracted by the customization and the ability to make your own things unique and different from the rest.

 

Citadel. It's like a church fortress on a very tall point. Hell, in this case? Space is my mountain, and the stars are my walls.

 

The Red Asteroid, because asteroids destroy ships... this one just does it faster and more violently >:]

Why are ships always "her"? What happened to all the male ships?!

 

That is a damn good question that I don't have a damn good answer for.

 

My ship is an undefined gender, if that counts.

 

My ship is not a living being. At least until I install A.I. for it. Then the gender will be decided.
