i think i would be cool to be able to add notes on the star map on places you have explored so you remember what was on that planet.
While much of this functionality is already duplicated out-of-game by sites like StarBoundMap, i do think that having it available in-game would also be helpful. Wouldn't add terribly much to the filesize of any given planet, anyway, even if someone were writing a full essay in-character or something. Which, btw, I've done at least once
i would like to see a favorite function for multiple planets you visited once. some kind of setting the home planet but without the warp. would be nice for revisiting and trading with outposts. a limeted list for 20 planets where you can set a note and quick-jump to the planet. would also be great for visiting friends on other planets in multiplayer.
Just wanted to bump this since it was the most recent one. I like how the plants are named and all but trying to convey which planet you are on to your friends. This would also give more of a colonizing feel to settling planets.
