Mystery Science Fish 5000

I found this way funnier than it should've been, but these fish were swimming in the air. First they were all fine and everything in the water then it started raining and they took to the sky. I almost feel out of my chair. Oh yea, and my game totally randomized my avian name to be Wingwing.

 

Gotta love the flying fish. If they ever get fixed, I'll miss them!

Yeah.. That image is pretty much starbound in a nutshell...

 

This started happening when they added variable gravity. On low gravity worlds you can even chase the fish out of the water to make then happen!

It's probably classified as a "bug" but I would imagine a low priority to get fixed.

 

Can you catch fish with the pokeballs (or whatever)? It'd be cool to have a little flying fish trailing you until it gets one-hit by of of those bastard birds.

I noticed this too! Also mine was especially hilarious because they were flying in acid rain.

 

oh okay so they are fish. this is so common that i was starting to think that some of them are actually tiny insect like critters flying around. They do all look suspiciously like fish though.

 

Best face in the whole game, needs to be a mod that plasters it onto everything that moves.
