I would say, that you should ad some scaffolding (I hope that is the right word, basically support structures like in mines) so that it doesn't look purely like a hole in the ground but like... well a mine that you have made your home. Details like that give some flavor.
I'd change the edges and especially the back wall to a crafted block, so it doesn't just look like a hole in the ground...
That's a great looking house! I do agree with Wilum though, adding edges would make it much more pleasing to the eye.
Conversely if you choose to keep the dirt blocks as is (i.e. you decide not to use crafted blocks), you can always use a hoe to till the dirt and give it a different aesthetic. A side benefit is that you can also plant various seeds to give your home even more flavor- kinda like a hole in the ground with sporadic vegetation coming up out of the ground. On a somewhat related note, does anyone know if you can till ceiling tiles with a hoe? (i.e. The "roof" blocks have their bottom sections tilled)
