I really like reptiles, and I would definitely be excited if a playable reptilian race was implemented. I've read around, and most of the related threads I've found talk about a snake-like or naga related race, and many follow the tribal theme of the Avians. I am aware, that there are already some threads about lizard men. These are just my ideas:

    Lacertians:
    Technological level: High
    Disposition: Civilized
    Population Size: Moderately Low
    Physiology:
The green, scaly skin, tail, and cranium shape of this humanoid resemble those of a lizard.

    History:
The Lacertians have always had a fascination for knowledge and technology. Before their discovery, they were in preparation for early space exploration. In fact, their presence in the universe may not have been made known for a couple of decades more if the season premiere of "My Big Fat Green Husband" hadn't wound up on the com systems of a passing research vessel belonging to a powerful galactic empire. The Lacertians handled their sudden space era transition, and have even contributed to the development of some important new technologies. The Lacertian mind is sophisticated, which is expressed through their excellent problem solving, and arguably explains their thirst for discovery.

(I'm not exactly an artist) Here is something I threw together. I'll try to make some GIF's soon

I made a huge attempt to match the artistic style of the released images. Hope you like it

Please leave your thought on this.

I like that you went to the effort of drawing it and even going so far as animating it, It goes that extra bit further to making it more believable.

    Even though you have written less about your race than perhaps others have, I do not mind or would even say that I prefer it;
I like that you have not come up with some insane back-story of the whole race that involves a whole load of RP doo doo when we actually have no idea of whether it will make sense in the game or not.
In the end it is up to the dev team to implement the races they like and in my opinion they already have their races planned or even already implemented - All I believe these threads of race suggestions are good for in terms of becoming an actual race is suggestions, they are unlikely to recreate a race based solely on one individual's ideas and threads.

This is probably a poorly written post, It is actually some what of a compliment or at least it was meant to be when I was writing it.

No, no! Not at all! This is constructive criticism, and the world could use a lot more of it. Thanks for giving me your opinion on the matter. It was a really thorough and honest, and I totally agree with you.

I'm just offering some of my own ideas, its all up to the Devs in the end if they decide to even implement something like this, and what concepts to include if they do.

    Also:
Liked for being brave enough to leave a comment, and because of the good constructive criticism included in it.

I like the idea, scince people usually see a reptilian human as being barbaric and uncivilized... Maybe there are different coulors of skin? (like a dark green or lime green)
