Resolved My starbound won't launch, please help :)

Please attach your starbound.log located in the storage folder of your starbound install.

You can attach a file to your post by clicking on the "upload a file" button. When browsing to the storage folder in the newly opened window it should show you the right file. It is probably named "starbound" because your OS hides known file extensions and .log is one of them.

I need the file itself and not a screenshot of it.

edit: according to the shown part of the log the game is working.

Is this the log of your unstable starbound or the normal starbound. The log does not show any errors at all.
Following issues could be possible atm:

• wrong log attached (stable instead of unstable)
• file is write protected (means you need to change the permissions)
• sth else is failing with either steam or your OS

I assume you attached the stable log instead of unstable here.

Please attach the logs from the storage folder. "giraffe_storage" is an old early access storage and doesn't contain anything useful anymore. Basically you can delete the giraffe_storage folder anyways.

Okay that's an odd one. Your unstable is requesting a quit during loading but without any error. Not a normal behaviour though but also no error which can help finding out the cause.
Either the quit request comes with steam or sth in your OS is preventing the unstable one to be launched. You could try launching without steam to find out if it is steam related though.
