Ello, as the title says I've noticed this issue always occurs on my Starbound server. I've tested it out with up to five people, and while the server runs without any hiccups for 1-2 hours, I run into serious lag after said amount of time, no matter the amount of people on my server. I was curious to what this issue is called and if possible how to fix it.

Can you tell us more about your server ?

    The server hardware/software spécifications ?
    Your operating system ?
Have you tried to play without Mods ?

Well I'm not sure what you mean by server hardware/software, but I'm running my server on the same computer that I play on (I know it's preferable to have a separate computer), I'm not using any third party software to run my server, I just port forwarded, I'm not running mods on my server either.

    My specs are:
    4 GB ram
    Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-2330M CPU @ 2.20GHz 2.20GHz processor
    Windows 7 64-bit OS

Your computer processor is a little slow, maybe he can't handle the server + client together.
Try to launch only the server and request a friend to test after some hours of play without playing yourself (yes, it's difficult ^^)
And try to play solo during 2 or 3 hours to reproduce.

Alright I'll try this out, as painful as it might be for me . Although if this happens to be the case, then wouldn't this mean that my problem would be unfix-able unless I attain another computer somehow?

Sadly yes, a server require a lot of hardware ressources (a good processor, and some gigas of RAM) to be functionnal :notworthy:
