Normally, this would not be the case, but at this point, all it seems they are doing is just flaunting it around trying to keep us "interested" when they shovel our money into the fireplace.

Besides, it's not about my game, it's about the amount of time that goes into making quality games.

I have seen your posts around the forum and from what I've seen all you do is complain and throw insults at the devs because they aren't doing things the way you think it should be done. I really do wish you would just leave. No, we aren't obligated to hand them our money. But who said that we are? We aren't being forced to pre-order. We aren't being forced to wait for updates. We aren't being forced to do anything. And how long have pre-orders been available for purchase? A month? Barely that? You complain they haven't released a game in a month that it would have taken them years to produce without the benefit of the pre-orders?

The thing is, they can do whatever they want. Because we allow them to. Our money that we DONATED does not entitle us to anything more than what they listed. And I hope you realize by saying such things is putting more stress on the developers? I mean let's just be real here, if this were medieval times and you said something with the same meaning, it would be considered treason, because you are a naysayer towards the country that you lived in/pledged allegiance to. It's treason because you are bringing down a negative impact towards your country to make people as angry as you are, which then causes an uprising.

And actually, just leaving is always an option. And plus, the game has been in development for a year, and maybe even more. Why do you feel like this now? Because you gave money to a company that is developing a game that you want, and you feel neglected because you aren't getting what you paid for, yes?

I mean come on, these guys are practically breaking their backs to make the game perfect FOR US, THE PEOPLE THAT SUPPORTED THEM. If you still feel this way, I would like to see you do better than Starbound in less time. Go on, do it, prove me wrong.

My only concern, and that should be your only concern as well. Will the game make it in 2013? I find that hard to believe myself.

Sorry, this is completely laughable. If you have followed just about any other software development you realize this post is out of touch with reality. You are lucky they are responsive at all, in fact they are pretty good considering other companies. I was in on the FTL kickstarter and there were times when they were quiet for long periods of time, aka getting **** done. I'm also waiting on Wasteland 2 and Torment: Tides of Numenera. Guess what? There are huge periods of silence. Real development is not dancing with the stars, american idol, the voice, survivor, csi, or any of the other countless over dramatized, hyped, unrealistic, fabrications of entertainment. It takes time. The developers can't and won't dance to everyone's little whim.

Man/Woman up. Good things come to those who wait.
