My hype is dying

Hear, hear. The biggest difference between Starbound and a AAA title is the graphics. An enormous amount of the people working on major titles work mostly on the animations and artwork. Though Starbound does not have comparable graphics, the systems and mechanics are on par with major games. It is a mountain of work for such a small team.

 

No, I edit them to make them a little more radical, because if you don't push the envelope, everyone ignores the glaring facts.

 

These are my thoughts endlessly. You're making a video game and started as such with an emphasis on community interaction, not a government secret where the smallest bit of information being given to the public is an act of treason under penalty by execution. If you don't want to share anything, SAY SO. Make a post saying you want to focus on the game, tell us things that aren't happening, etc. Enough with the bullshitting.

 

Just because you dont agree with it, doesnt make it a bad idea, updating of the roadmap is in my opinion a good idea.
Also its a bit naive if you want people to go away if they dont have anything "nice" to say, seems to me you'd be pretty oblivious to any criticism of any kind if one would only want to hear the "nice" things being said.
