From what I can tell, you put the spring_outdoorsTileSheet into an assets folder. It should be in the same folder as the farm.tbin otherwise SMAPI won't pick it up to be seasonal.
All my outdoorsTileSheets are in the same place but the farm.tbin is in an assets folder, should I move that?
Yes they all need to be in the same folder. Make sure you go back into Tiled/tIDE and edit your tilesheet to be in the same folder as your tbin.
By tiled/tlDE do you mean the tilesheets folder in content? edit: no wait I got what you were talking about
