Ofc Starbound for sandbox games If it comes to reaaaally good story i'd suggest "NIER:Automata" (the story made me cry more than once q.q). If you are in visual novels then "nekopara" and "xblaze:code embryo" (haven't played the other one of xblaze yet) too. Obviously Neptunia... Hmm....There is a lot more...but i suppose your wallet would hate me even more if i'd continue. ~ Iris ~
One game that doesn't get enough credit is Suikoden 2 (the first is also really good) If you can find it, its one of those life-changing games
Yes of course your Royal Waffleness is welcomed here ^^ Now, for SUikoden, I played th DS episode. Was noïce And for Terranigma, I've heard about it x) I'll make a list of your suggestions soon
Aaaaalrighty! Here's some good games you should look into picking up(not in order): Psychonauts Cave Story Final Fantasy IX Grim Fandango Remastered VA-11 HALL-A: Cyberpunk Bartender Action Portal(1 or 2) Princess Remedy in a World of Hurt Dark Souls(the first one) Fallout New Vegas Metro 2033 F.E.A.R Sly Cooper(any of the original 3) Kingdom Hearts II Spiderman 2(the movie game) Star Wars Battlefront II Final Fantasy V That's all for now. I might edit this list and add more later
I can add more to the list if you so desire, ranging from shooters to puzzlers and sandbox to roleplay. And then some more crap I am as of yet unsure what to categorize it as. note: I'd only be able to list older games, since we still have a 512mb graphics potato.
Here's a whole list of games I'd suggest. (was a bit late yesterday) Alien Swarm: Reactive Drop (free) Call of Duty 1, UO and especially 2 Dirty Bomb ( free) Factorio Half Life 1, 2 and take a look at Black Mesa (Should be a free HL2Ep2 mod version of early BM still on the internet) Kerbal Space Program L4D2 Sanctum 2 Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 1 and 2 (with the restored content mods) Terraria W40k Regicide if you're into chess. Trine 1 and 2. I wouldn't suggest 3 if you're looking for a game. If you want bugs galore to laugh about, then okay. Super Meat Boy Portal 1 and 2, Portal Stories Mel. Little Inferno Castle Crashers Skyrim The Final Station Overlord: Raising Hell The Stanley Parable Red Alert 2 Door Kickers GMod Prison Architect Space Engineers Starbound ofc I rather enjoyed Tropico 3, even though I didn't play a lot of it The Binding of Isaac Borderlands 1 and 2 Broforce, although co-op with my brother right next to me (albeit on a different computer next to me) was laggy. Chivalry Medieval Warfare Gunpoint Hotline Miami 1 and 2 Killing Floor LUFTRAUSERS Mass Effect 1 and 2 Payday 2 Really Big Sky is amusing enough Papers, Please Red Faction: Guerilla. This one is free roaming, more or less. Red Faction: Armageddon was also amusing, and superior if you need high quality lighting or like to throw monsters at objects and objects at monsters. It was linear though, and the story was beyond stupid IMO. Sniper Elite V2 Tower of Guns Valkyria Chronicles W40k Space Marine was amusing if a bit buggy. Do note that the audio (which is apparently dependent of your FPS (no I'm not making that up)) was rather broken because of my 30 fps average. Sid Meier's Civ V XCOM Enemy Unknown is a good game Metro 2033 Bioshock 1 and 2 Dishonored Besiege OneShot Poly Bridge STALKER - Call of Pripyat. (Note that STALKER is much less a game with a couple of bugs than a collection of bugs miraculously forming a game.) Rock of Ages Warcraft 3 Age of Wonders: Shadow Magic Deus Ex and Human Revolution SUPERHOT FTL: Faster Than Light Witcher series was fun enough to watch Pony Island. I had more fun in it than it probably deserves, and it's the only game I spent time on getting all (relatively easy to get) achievements. 85 games all together I'd suggest. edit: If you don't mind emulators: Chrono Trigger (SNES) Kirby Superstar (SNES) Spyro games (PS1) Crash Bandicoot games (PS1) Team Buddies (PS1) Zelda - A Link to the Past (SNES) And there's more but I can't think of their names right now. I could pull in Commodore 128 games in here but I forgot their names too. There was Spy vs Spy, and some weird but very enjoyable racing game.
*gets tagged but never seen alert* I like playing Left 4 Dead 2 and GTA 5. However both are modded so I only play by myself like a lonely soul. Multiplayer? Lesseee.... Counter Strike is ok. And so is Terraria. But everything I play by myself. PC is lonely.
On a personal note, I'd say that Solatorobo: Red the Hunter on DS is a must-play Unfortunately, it seems that you could count those knowing about it on a severed hand
Came across this while browsing Imgur. Didn't really look at it but I presume there must be at least one good game in there. http://imgur.com/gallery/t6kVb
