I have always misheard this song as "Like Frankenstein i did it my way!" xD still like it better that way. Like Dr Frankenstein i did it my way! i am keeping this as a saying for me.
I've been looking for this song for years. Basically from the first time I heard it. I knew what it was called but didn't know who made it. Simply searching "spirit of fire" gave unhelpful results. But last night I finally found it again!

Here's something other than youtube. It's described as a "Friendly trip through different states of electronic disco and robotic funk." https://soundcloud.com/dfast/sets/followers-of-disco
meh Never been a big fan of trash metal that gos ''UUUUUUUUURRRRRRGGGHHHHH!!!!'' every tenth second. i am more of a metallica or dio fan when it comes to metal. For those that wonder he sings about him self.
I haven't listened to Manowar in a long time. Thanks for reminding me they exist. (; Edit: Whilst we're on the topic of classic metal I offer this.
Like one of the comments on youtube mentions 'This organ was built in 1905... when Rasputin was still alive, the events talked about at the end of the song hadn't even happened!' which is pretty rad.
