I don't know how often I have seen electric guitars that fire sonic blasts. But I'd like to be able to end my enemies with the power of rock n' roll.
That would be epic, I'd love to wield powerful music to vanquish my foes and bring harmony to the cosmos. But it does sound like a cool idea.
at first I was expecting something stupid, then I read this thread and my 'no' immediately turned into a 'YES!'

First thing that came to mind when reading this thread: I don't see sound/music being used as a weapon, but even today it's used as a deterrent. Walking around and using a sound blaster would scare off hostile monsters (or some of them, anyway) or some sort of "sound barrier" keeps them away from villages. Could also be used to raise the mood of villagers towards you, etc. Lot of possibilities other than weapons.
I'm pretty sure music has so many other uses. I was simply talking about one that is one of my favorites.

Necro post! How about a sound weapon that you can change frequency for different effects: Lowest only pushing Highest destroying all block in its path. But with great musical powers come the hassle of energy
