Hello, so, i want to make a multiple slot furnace, but i cant only put 2 input slots and 1 output. I dont understand the function of the slotOffset in the interface file. Thanks. Sorry, i dont speak english very well
The slot offset is pretty much just the slots number. Every slot needs a unique offset. If two share the same offset what ever you place in one will show in the other. They start at 0 and if you don't give it an offset it will default to 0. No idea on the extra output thing. Not sure how the game would know when to use one over the other.
I saw a post which said that more than one output could be specified in the UI but that it wouldn't work. A workaround is to drop items and have your object use itemQuery/takeItemDrop instead of a UI to get the items. This way, in your lua, you can drop whatever items you like. This mod has great examples of object interactions, including a keypad for entering co-ords: http://community.playstarbound.com/index.php?resources/proof-of-concept-planetside-teleporters.1031/ I haven't seen an example of how to make a UI that calls Lua.
Thanks, I only need 3 INPUT slots, or more. Is for a Research Table. Maybe with lua, but I dont know how to call LUA in the interface.
