Multiplayer - Sebastian 6 heart cut-scene crashes

Hi, I'm playing a 3-player multiplayer game of Stardew Valley on Steam, PC version (I'm not the host), and when I entered Sebastian's room, the 6 heart cut-scene started. I manage to get up to the end of the intro to choose warrior/healer/wizard and get up to the end of the conversation just before it enters the mini game. It gets stuck while loading the mini game, and I get kicked out of the server. I re-enter and manage to trigger the cut-scene again, but still get kicked out. Is there a way to fix this?

P.S. Also side note, the same thing happens some times (not all the time) when trying to purchase an animal, I crash/get kicked out during the purchase but the animal still appears on the farm.
