Multiplayer is a part of the next patch, which is currently in beta on PC. The final version of the patch will be on all platforms when it's ready.
... with how CF can't even manage a vita version that doesn't explode on itself, I seriously doubt multiplayer will ever be on it.
I'm relatively certain they've specifically stated it won't be. I'm fine with that. Don't want multi-player anyway, so I got the version best suited for me.
