Multiplayer Connection Failed

I bought the game last week and i am trying to play with my friends but for some reason i cant. First time i tried for 2 hours and everytime i try to connect i receive "Connection Failed" for some random reason and its only in this game! I've had countless problems with both games from the developers, starbound i've bought to play with my friend when it was in alpha and never could, today i cant even open the game, it gives me fatal error ou doesnt open from steam at all... Now stardew valley with this "connection failed" for no reason and i cant find anything that can help me, i ve tried reinstalling, reset the router, reset de modem, my computer and nothing works... And like i said, it is only in stardew valley...
