Much needed Functions for Ships Navigation System

    otakutechie Yeah, You!

Well let me start off with I got this game so me and my friends could play a game together seeing as how I run on Gnu/Linux(currently Xubuntu 13.04) and they run on windows. (cross-platform multiplayer ), and i appreciate all the hard work chuckle fish has done so far.

If a thread like this already exists let me know because i could not find it, and sorry if so.

(note: these fictions do not exist in my version of my game (steam for Gnu/Linux)
(updated note: found out I had some bad game files, I re-downloaded fixed, now i can right click on star map
to zoom out, but how was I suppose to know it was to right click to zoom out?)

With that said, sailing from planet to planet with friends has been troublesome to sync up were we are going.
teleporting from ship to ship with each ship on different planets causes my game to crash so cant go that route.

So me and my friends came up writing down the location of the solar systems coordinates, but putting them in takes a while,
and the only way to get the star map pulled up is to hit find random button.

So i suggest 3 buttons for the navigation system to make this a bit easier on multi play.

1st button: a simple view star map button, could be the shape of a graph with stars, that shows the star map with your location already in the middle.

2nd button: a minus button (-) since you start on navigation system on planet view, the minus button would allow you to zoom out to solar system view then hitting it again would go to star map view.

3rd button: a plus button (+) when in star map view you would click it to got to the solar system in which you reside in, then again to planet view in which you reside in.

and an extra function that could be wonderful to have but not needed (can just open leafpad(open-source notepad)

A notepad: in witch you could write down x and y coordinates as you explore the vast reaches of space and knowing were you have been.

well those are my thoughts, thanks for hearing me out, sorry for this being my first post on this forum.

I hate to be the one to say this but I only came on here to say. Please please please... watch how you spell words before you post something. (title)

sorry about that, I used an open-sourced word correction in which for some reason omitted the word I wanted :speechless:; sorry about that. (should be fixed now)

To zoom out, right click. Logging your coordinates into your character's journal with snippets about them would be REALLY nice.

found that out a little late, after I posted that i had some bad game files, did an integrity check on cache and its fixed now (got re-downloaded), which means it was more of a bug then anything T_T. But thanks for info (and for some reason i cannot edit the post with corrections either). i read the journal and never saw anything saying right click to zoom out either. *sigh*
Usually I am more informed than this.
