Someone should pin one to the front page like they did with the Show off your Farm thread. They tend to get buried otherwise.

no you can place them without a mod, on Seb's file I placed them in the spare room and I don't use mods.

 

This changes everything.

 

lol I do like to have them floating around the house, I think there are just a few things they can't sit on but I had them on tables, one on a stone slab and the other on the table in the living room a side table I think it was.

 

You can put pretty much anything on tables as far as I know, it's a neat little feature

 

Even other furniture sometimes. lol

 

But not the TV.

 

I knew about gems and such, but tabling Fish makes my Trophy idea from the "next update" thread unnecessary.

 

Okay there is a little bit I'm not standing in the right place apparently, loser pic noob does not take many pics for this game lol, but all that's missing is the fireplace, the teddy bear and another plant I just cleared out some chests and machines and moved them into my shed.

 

Okay, my kitchen has been decorated:

Pretty happy about the result, it's simple and that's how I like it
I really wish we could pick the color of the kitchen desks and such though, would love a more birch wood looking kitchen.
Maybe there are mods for this? Hmm...

The rest of the house hasn't been decorated yet though and probably won't be for a while, not really feeling inspired atm.

 

Good attempt at symmetry with the lamps. All the pastels give a very Egg Festival feel.

 

I finally got my catalogue so first I made my room of....I don't know unholy chicken. Then I decorated for the season and as it is Winter I decorated for the holidays.

Now I'm in Spring so had to change it up

 

That leafy wallpaper you're using is my favorite wallpaper.

 

It's really pretty I hadn't seen it before.

 

My house is decorated with a bunch of stuff from the private copy of my furniture mod.
Someone posted that they kept grandpa's chair. I did too, I keep it beside my daughter's bed for storytime.

 

Your tub placement...you could totally watch movies on the bigscreen while taking a bubble bath. lol

I'm actually really curious to see how people will decorate their houses now that we have the catalogs available and decor is essentially unlimited. No one is bound anymore by what they can and cannot get from Robin and Pierre, so their creativity can run free. I'm working on saving up for the furniture catalog right now, can't wait to have it in my hands so I can go all out with my house. >u<
