Well thats a rather rude thing to say, you could atleast give him credit for drawing something, most people haven't and just described what their monster looks like. Maybe you could give him some advice on how to draw better?
No, the judging, from what I've heard, is going to be mainly based upon the idea, but a drawing to help get the idea across helps. Also remember to post your submission in the Contest Submission zone, area, type place.
