Mouse Lag / Stutters / Ghosting, please help with fix

I bought Starbound today and the first thing I noticed is that I have an extremely laggy mouse that ghosts and stutters when I'm playing the game. Is there any way I can fix this "Laggy Mouse" Bug thingy? I've tried almost everything: lowering res, borderless windowed etc... nothing helps, still an annoying laggy mouse that stutters and "ghosts".

Please help, thanks!
