So I finally managed to get a Novakid crewmember for my ship after making a colony and summoning some of them with Saloon furniture. It took quite a while to get a quest from him, because the colony is... well, it's under a huge dome at the bottom of the ocean. But the achievement didn't unlock! I have a Human (actually 3 because my Tailor got triplicated), an Apex, two Glitches, a Floran, a Hylotl and a Novakid. I even have a Penguin. Could the Novaskin Mod that I have installed be responsible for this?
Yes, I do, he's the Technician. Speaking of which, the Mechanic and Technician seem to be increasing my fuel capacity and engine efficiency ad infinitum. Sometimes they would stop reporting improvements for a time and I'd think they're maxed but then they would start all over again.
In that case, I've also heard some say that having a penguin on the crew can bug out the achievement. Not sure if just dismissing the penguin fixes it, or if you have to do something else. Yeah...they don't seem to have any sort of cap, as far as I've seen. I think my current fuel capacity is up to around 38000, which doesn't even matter since I no longer actually use fuel to travel anywhere.
It sort of defeats the whole purpose of fuel if you use one percent of one unit of fuel to jump across the galaxy, doesn't it?
