I will be placing all of my suggestions for monsters/npcs/etc in here from now on.
Please comment on anything of interest & ignore my old threads.

The destroyer on top; dreads on bottom.

    The Destroyer
The Destroyer is a manifestation of war and power
Although harmless to a passing player, when in sight of another destroyer, they will both blow their trunks as horns of war. All npcs and mobs nearby (passive or evil) will immediately evacuate the area, ignoring the player.
They will back off from each other a good distance, and start dropping Dreads out of their EXECUTION HOLE. The Dreads come out immediately in a pack of four, and afterwards at about one dread per second in war, and one dread per two seconds in player versus.
There is a max of 6 Dreads (per Destroyer) in a war, and 8 dreads in a player fight.
There is a visible amount of slime in the Destroyers stomach, which is therefore limited.

    The Dread
The Dread is the extremely athletic, extremely strong, extremely fast, extremely sharp, and extremely agile summon of the Destroyer. In fight, they never miss a shot with a laser, and are extremely hard to hit due to their constant movement.
Once killed, they fall into a pile of slime, which will be consumed & recycled by the Destroyer.

    The Slime
This slime is a slow moving liquid, so it will not quickly dissipate.
This slime could be used in genetic experiments, or spray-on bandages and stomach coating anti-diarrhea medicine.

    The Death
On the rare chance that you encounter two Destroyers at once, they will immediately fight.
The fight may last a very long time, and continues if you leave the area.
The two Destroyers stand back while their Dreads fight each other off while attempting to purge the enemy Destroyer.
Once one of the Destroyers dies, its great, glowing, golden eyeball falls as a drop, and the other Destroyer cleans up the slime and sucks up the eyeball, making their stomach glow. This is a level 2 destroyer, which, if "despawned", may appear at another time.

    The Player Versus
If the player either attacks the Destroyer or grabs a Glowing Eyeball whilst the Destroyer is near, the Destroyer will assault the player with Dreads. The Dreads, again, do not ever miss, but they do not take much damage to kill, and, if the player is strong enough, there should be ample time between dreads to deal damage to the Destroyer, who will be constantly shuffling backwards if you attempt to get close to them.

    Barbaric vs Modern
Dreads in Barbaric worlds will use melee, slowing the fight to an extent, but being able to deal more ample damage to the player.
Dreads in Modern worlds will spawn with laser cannons.

    Use as a pet
Destroyers might be tame-able as what are basically defence towers, in the case of someone assaulting your camp, but will not avoid war with other Destroyers which pass on by.

    The Bro from another Flow
    The Granite from another Planet
    The JOCK ROCK

This stray ASTEBROID went a little over the edge in his regular wrestling matches with his HEAVYMASS CHAMPION buddies.
On entering the atmosphere, he has lost most of his mass to atmosphere entry (varying on the planet/moon's atmosphere).

On being attacked the first time, he begins flying aimlessly around yelling OH GOD OH GOD OH GOD OH GOD OH GOD
On being attacked any time past that, he tackles the player, meanwhile still continuing his mental breakdown in the air

By the looks of it, he's probably the one who sits on the bench during his games the most.

If you ignore him too long after freaking him out (and dont get killed by his bad flying), he escapes back to space, because that's what grounded asteroids do.

I saw this in the contest, and thought of how this idea- a "taking tree" -could be much more amusing.
The taking tree would take items dropped, and you would never actually see the items get dropped before being absorbed.
The tree does not take items directly dropped by players.
If you chop a tree right next to it, it takes a random portion (10-50%) of the logs, replacing them with dupes, which fill your inventory with nothing but clean air.

    Crawling/walking animation:[IMG]
    TO THE SKIES: [IMG]
    Talking: [IMG] [IMG]
    Shooting:[IMG][IMG]
Due to their massive cranium, they are extremely intelligent, adaptive creatures, using whatever weapons and armor available. As a nomadic & lone species, they do not form packs larger than 4 nor do they have towns.

They can fly, swim, and crawl, and do the former and second by shooting jets of steam.
This is also their defense system.

From end of tentacles to peak of cranium it is 2-3 metres (a human is usually about 1.5 metres tall iirc)

    NEW!

The Ardo is a sentient carapace-bearing creature found on high G planets.
They walk with surprising speed, but have a vicious fear of heights.
When found on said high G planets, most have been terraformed by these people to be completely smooth (no ledges).
The shell protects it very well from all sorts of damage
The Ardo has two hand-like tails of massive muscularity, and the Ardo spends much time contemplating things before doing them, so as to save energy.
The two hand-tails can use weapons, shields, etc at will.

The Chawnee are sentient bird-like creatures found on medium-low G planets.
They can hover perfectly in the air, using their wings like a bee does, or fly, like a hawk does.
Most planets are untouched that contain these creatures- they live in floating homes, though there may be ruins of their ancient civilizations.
The Chawnee use their feet like hands, manipulating objects as they hover, or using them as weapons and shields.

The JTM is basically a turtle that punches you.
He moves by hopping, and when ready to attack, flips up to bipedal position, shooting its fists at you like hot irons being shot out of a sniper rifle.
The punches thrown by this schmuck are massively painful and send enemies flying.
There is a high-tier form which gets grabbing arms, so once in its grasps, you'll be getting your chest or back pummeled relentlessly until it punches your heart out. Literally.
These mantises are usually docile, but if you bump into them or hurt them in any way they will jab your skull straight out of your face.

    Volley Jabber Variant:

Found tossing an npc or item back and forth like a volleyball

If you intercept (take the ball/walk in their way), you will be tossed into the cycle until you
    1) kill them both
    2) give them an npc to toss instead of you
    3) use shield and run away- they will send flying first npc they hit, but not target you specifically

If you kill one of them, the other will chase you no matter where you go, until it sends you into a loop with another volley jabber.

Added the Chawnee & Ardo races
    Please excuse my art.
In fact, excuse all of it, since it's trash, heh.
It's for getting a point across, not looking nice.
