It wouldn't make much sense for the last one of them to last for long without some sort of means of communication (Their language likely isn't translated by the translator used by the other species), and, judging from the state of their ruins, it seems unlikely for them to still be around.

The Main thing I want to see is all Progression paths to be complete. That will probably take quite a bit of time, since that implies a whole lot. No biggy, as I am extremely patience.:D

[IMG] It's definitely possible to kill them, unless I missed an update. I actually have been avoiding catching and spawning critters for this reason (what can I say, it makes me feel guilty), and for the fact that every time there's an update they transmogrify. But now I feel bad about all the critters I did spawn and who I unnecessarily murdered ...

You can still kill pets via traps and just using it till the mobs attacks turn it back into a pod. Tesla spikes are a favorite in case you want a portable method of putting it down.

I do wish there was a better method of transforming it back into the pod other than wasting pods or killing it "like a use command on the same filled capture pod, and make pods function like the throwable block. (As in, a missed throw turns it into an block or an item, instead of losing it.)

There's a lot I don't get about pets, in fact. But I'm really satisfied with the one I got right now. Such a beast!

For improvements, i'd like a mapping system, and a way to find specific structures on a planet, i just finally got the fully upgraded ship.

For good stuff that needs expanding: outpost tenants(would love to see glitch peasants work the farm) and combat(got a really good blue broadsword, now I need a blue spear)

Most definitely this. I am more interested in ship building than house building, So more likely than not after I decked out my ship I would then get into the house building. I had put a suggestion on what they could do to allow that in another post. You can ignore the armor ratings since that was for ship battles but everything is pretty solid:

"They should allow you to be able to enlarge your ship though, build hull blocks that need to be used on the outer shell (The system could check if the aircraft is enclosed by a hull material) then using the MM to recolor it however you like. Then having an endgame Hull material that after putting it through a Manufactory of some sort, it would inherent the visual characteristics of what you put it through with.
Ex. Advanced Hull Material w/ Obsidian Block = Advanced Hull Material (Obsidian Block)

Then once you have a certain size, you would have to upgrade your engines to keep them efficient with fuel usage because lets face it, having the size of a battleship on the engines of a zippy cruiser makes no sense. So if you don't upgrade your engines, expect high fuel costs since the size of your ship correlates with the efficiency of your engines.
    ______________________________________________________________________________
Now to get where I was going from earlier, there would be different hull types:

    • Speeder Hull - Lightweight, allows more to be used before fuel efficiency gets low. However, low armor rating
    • Standard Hull - Standard fuel efficiency, standard armor rating
    • Reinforced Hull - High Armor Rating, however it is heavy and lowers fuel efficiency
    • Advanced Hull - Can be melded with any visual characteristic of any block. Can also have Speeder, Standard, and Reinforced versions respectively.
In order to upgrade and build out your ship, you would have to go to an outpost and get the help of your penguin friends at the shipyard! Your ship does not have to be exclusive to one hull type. You can build the ship with whatever combination you'd like of hull blocks whether you want to have Reinforced, Standard, or Speeder."

I believe proper protocol is to make a heap of 'feedback' threads complaining.

Here's what I'd like to see
    - All vanity items made available through normal gameplay (crafting, treasurepools).
    - All foods completed and made available through normal gameplay.
    - Liquid coffee brought back.
    - Sewage blocks restored as a viable building material.
    - Poop scannable again.

I also believe this to be best course of action. Only through constant negativity will something good happen. It helps to use sensationalism to your advantage as well. Especially in the title

You're not serious, are you? Are you sure constant negativity won't just lead people to dismiss you as a pessimist? Or that sensationalism will make it seem that you're making something out to be a bigger issue than it is, solely for your own gain?

I actually had you in mind with that initial post, because of that kind of behaviour.

No, I'm not serious...mostly. Ha ha! Complaining about stuff is a great tool for developers though.

Depends. Feedback is one thing, but sometimes complaints just aren't all that useful. I mean, there's usually something to it, but just saying "this feature sucks remove it" is a far cry from "this feature isn't enjoyable, this is why, and this is what can be done about it".
