Outdated MoreCaves .09 No really this time

Have the ridiculous amount of chasms to jump across above ground been fixed yet? I expected caves to be a lot more present underground, but right now aboveground, there are way too many openings.

 

Yes, but you either have to delete your planet file to generate new planets, or just like... Fly to a planet you haven't been before. It doesn't work retroactively.

 

if i have this installed and host a server, will it conflict?
or is all world-gen done by the server in a multiplayer game and thus have no issues at all?

I'm going to TENTIVELY, say yes, only because without looking at his mod at all besides a few sentences in the OP, I don't think he screws with vanilla cave gen, and just instead makes his own planets. I'd probably back everything up though and test it first.

cuz if it is, it should be easy enough to modify the modconfig to have it load AFTER fracking universe to make sure the cave gen changes ar applied

 

Yeah, it's just some .json files that merge a few tweaks.

 

I kinda feel like maybe folks talked you down from surface caves a little too much, but I like this mod a lot. Thank you.

Just logged back on after a few months, does anyone want anything else with this thing? Or is it still good as is?

 

Looks like worldgen is broken with the latest unstable update. Started completely fresh with no other mods to confirm. Ship left hanging in space endlessly with no planet to teleport down to (teleport button remains disabled forever).

 

Uh wow, that's a weird bug I'll check it out tonight. When you say completely fresh did you gen a new world?

 

Yeah, deleted all character and universe files; completely fresh start.

 

This going to be updated for Pleased Giraffe? I still use it...

 

Seconding the worldgen problem. Doesn't matter if it's the only mod installed, it leaves me hanging in space purgatory forever. Here's the .log file, if it helps any. Something about not generating dungeons properly.
