More tenants for Colonies

    Currently, The whole reason i play starbound is for the colony factor. I love building one and really enjoy the whole idea.

    I'm wondering if its possible to add new kinds of tenants for colonies.

    The first in my mind is Those guys who live on Arid planets, like hylotls or apex in furs and such. I'd love to be able to add guys like them to my society.

    Theres also others i would love to see, like a Rust Biome tenant, or someone who works off the "explorer" item tag(like maybe an Indiana Jones styled human). Maybe Wrecked items can bring in an apocalypse survivor character, ala Fallout or similar. Penguins would be awesome too.

    I'd basically love to see more kinds of unique people to bring in to the colony.

    Id also be useful if tenants could bring in more useful items. such as unique powerful weapons and items. It'd also be cool to see the colonies possibly expand on their own. Designate some tenants to be miners and lumberjacks and they automatically bring in materials. designate some as merchants and craftsmen and they can bring in some fancy decorations. and finally, designate some builders to potentially draw from some pre-built structure presets and watch them clear out the terrain and build new homes. Maybe even throw in some guards to protect them from monsters and blacksmiths to make equipment for said guards. and maybe sell tiered armor of different races as well? I dunno, it'd be nice to see some uniquely skilled tenants among the normal citizens.

    I would prefer a system where the tenants have demands. So basically a colony has a market where demand sget shown, like food, based on the race the tenants are. Also needs for equipment and cloth and such. This way instead of shoving all items we don't need into merchants the tenants would buy them off said market or can only be sold when a demand exists.
    And Items they bring home form adventures should in reverse be sold by them on the market. Where of course the items ql and tier depends on the fulfilling of their demans. So basically a bit of a small economy simulator that makes the colony system more exciting to keep it running instead of just grabbing the items they generate regulary selling the crap and done.

    This page helped me to diversify my colony in a meaningful way (Warning, possible spoiler if you would prefer to figure out the tenant spawn factors on your own!) http://starbounder.org/Tenant . I started intentionaly placing items instead of doing what looked cool or nice. I began combining the just right recipe for the just right tenant. Im sure this is probably not what the OP was reffering to, but if so, then hooray!
