The only way something can be "multiplayer friendly" is if it doesn't add anything that other people don't already have. Be it adding in things that were disabled previously, or things like changing damage values on weapons. If a mod adds brand spanking new content, then no, it is not, and never will be "multiplayer friendly". All mods in this case must be installed both on the server and the client of all users, otherwise it will either be invisible, or straight up crash.
