    No coal is not such a good idea, it makes it easy to get stuck at moons, forever.

    That's a point, but still, it doesn't make sense for coal to be there.
    Higher level moons will have uranium or plutonium to fuel your ship.
    Plus most people will have a coal or tree bearing world set as their home, so they can always warp back there to gather fuel.
