Moons and Moonstone!(pic from Tiy omg!)

I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thinks that, I thought maybe it was just my dirty imagination.

Love how the guys I made kinda look like this moon suit dude.
Hope you at least get to change the color palette of the suit if not upgrade the crap out of it. or add modular gizmos of somesort (i.e hoverpack etc.)

 

Now time to take off this helmet and see what this hunk of rock really looks like.

 

Why do so many Starbound fans think that this game will have Vanity slots? Look, I realize that Tiy is from Terraria and Vanity slots were a Terraria thing, but this is a new game, with a new take and direction. Personally I don't care for them... I want it to be at least mildly realistic, so that you aren't wearing two helmets, two chest pieces, two leggings and several pairs of boots like you could. I think there there is vast amount of potential improvement over Terraria.

Shoot, missed that, just found it in the Announced Info thread. Hmm. Well, no sense in fighting it even though I really dislike the concept of vanity slots.

I'm going to have to agree with you here. I can see things like hats being vanity items, but changing your entire appearance is just a bit too much. You could go running around a moon in a bikini and still have air supply from the spacesuit you're wearing under it. Maybe vanity items could just be hats and armor dye?

 

Ideally, you would need a spacesuit for any planet or moon that did not have a breathable atmosphere. Simply it being a moon doesn't mean anything. I'm sure there are moons somewhere in our universe that you can breathe on while the planet they orbit is completely barren.

 

If slyfoxhound plays starbound, you know he's making a purple moonstone house.

 

Planets AND moons to explore.. So much time I'm going to spend on this.

AND even "man" made objects apart of planets and moons...
