    Hello!
I present to you my entry for the contest, a moon stalker.

It's a nocturnal creature, during the day it burrows down in loose ground, preferably sand.
It lost the use of its eyes millions of years ago, and therefore they have become useless.
The Moon stalker does however possess other keen senses, it relies mainly on its extremely sharp hearing, it
gains an understanding of the surroundings around itself by the use of echolocation. It uses its hearing, as well
as its sensitive nose in order to hunt, during the night. The teeth of the moon stalker are long and sharp.
Due to the creatures habit of burrowing down in the ground, it naturally possesses a thick hide. This makes
the moon stalker particularly hard to kill.
Thanks to its long legs it can run immensely fast, and keeps its balance through the use of its tail.

Here are some other quick sketches I made, one that shows a moon stalker sleeping in a little hole, and
one that shows the size of a moon stalker compared to an average human.

I really like this idea, the design is cool, but there is one thing i don't like about it.
You say it burrows underground, but how? it has no arms and the claws on it's feet are too small and designed for slashing, not burrowing.

Does it use it's head to burrow? if so i just got a really funny mental image of it trying to squeeze into the ground and looking like an ostrich.

Like i said, i really like the design, but that part just might need a bit of tweaking

Nice job I still have trouble rapping my head around how to recreate one of my sketches to pixel art.

I forgot to mention - it burrows down in sand. I thought about it myself but forgot to add it, thank you for pointing that out.
Will edit that in there. :)

    Nice!
Maybe this wasn't your best sprite, but I like it, and I wish you a lot of luck at this competition. May the best (maybe you) win!

I really like the drawing and the description, but the sprite's head isn't that good... Great idea and name!

Aye I'm aware that the sprite is pretty poor. I very much rushed it. I'll replace it with another, better planned and executed sprite in a while.

Great work, it looks like some kind of mythological monster.

Somehow reminds me of a demon and the monster of lochness...

    @GigaNova Thanks man!

Edited the sprite now that I had some more time on my hands.

Better. I like this one more. I still have the feeling you could have done better, but ah, I just set my expectations up far too high again. I'm sorry, you have an excellent chance of winning this : )
