Monster Trees

    Ok, so monsters (Or any entities) should be able to form a tree-like structure, where one monster is connected to and moves with another monster, which can be again connected to and moves with another monster, and so on, and the entity is aware of both what it is connected to and what is connected to it.

    Why? Well, this could add a whole new mechanic to specific monsters (namely bosses) and adds a whole new idea for vehicles which are not techs.

    Think of the UFO boss. With this, turrets could be attatched to the boss which can be shot off independently of the main UFO. And those turrets could have little penguins who can then also be shot (and killed) to disable them.

    And you can have vehicles, where the driver can be killed to take control over it, or certain parts can be blown off it.

    And even normal enemies could have it so damaging a limb (which would be its own entity) will cripple it, slowing movement or weakening attacks. (headshots deal double damage?)
