hey folks! its me, that awesome forum goer!

SO I've seen all the randomly generated monsters so far....and while they are for the most part awesome! I feel like they would get repetitive....not to mention said monsters could be spawned on planets that make no sense color wise!

by biome I mean, grass colors....plant colors, rock colors...ect.

instead of having only one pool of parts and colors to pull from, there should be one per biome!
each one has its own color pallet and creature parts so that you still get the feeling of it being diverse BUT each creature fits right, and the parts don't go all wonky on you!

tell me what you think down below!~

All of the monsters made each friday were made using an external tool, which dosen't include color matching. In game monsters will have better colors. I also dislike the idea of having one pallet for each biome, it dosen't really make sense, and since each planet is one biome could be kind of boring.

The pallet wouldn't restrict all monsters to the exact same primary, secondary, and tertiary colours. I think he means say, a forest/ plains planet would limit all monsters to colors such as green, dark green, grey, brown, red, and any other suitable color. Upon generation the monsters would be randomly coloured from the available pallet, allowing variety but maintaining a proper theme.
It wouldn't work like "all monsters are blue with green detailing on this planet"

    Ah, that makes more sense.

Yeah and I think it'd be pretty great :) It'd be strange running into vibrant yellow and pink monsters on a planet with open grassy fields. Then again you said the friday monsters are made from an external tool, so the ingame monsters might not be so bad
