Mods you DON'T wanna see

Any Call of Duty guns mod. Any 18+ mod, made by someone who is not. Any 'epic', 'awesome', or 'shiny' recoloring mod. Any *insert game* mod that only includes a handful of recolors and maybe one half-decent tile recolor. Any *insert anime* mod that adds a *insert anime weapon/armor* which is just a bad reskin of a preexisting item. Et cetera, et cetera.

 

Suddenly I feel like testing this "Gregtech"... :/

 

Not talking about ideas but about art and code - it happens more often than you think. It happened already twice to me and i made clear in the readme that its not allowed to use my sounds without asking me.

 

I don't care... Give me all your mods.

 

That reminds me of another mod type which were prominent in Warcraft 3... the troll mods! Mods that make everyone apart from the host lag, crash or get stuck in the game with interface disabled. Terrible, terrible things!

That doesn't sound good man, not good...

 

Sounds more like a hack than a mod, really.

 

Mod: A modification to a game changing aspects of gameplay. These can range from new "items" to "overhauls" that change the whole game. Not to be confused with a "hack" or "exploit".

 

I'm sure they will happen, and will probably happen a lot, but I don't want to play on a server that hands you every item in the game as soon as you walk in the front door.

Removing all challenge and turning the game into an Intergalactic Spazz Center of everyone shooting everybody with every weapon all the time ... noppity nope nopey nope

 

Not really... due to how triggers in Warcraft 3 worked it was very easy to create memory leaks that would over time slow the game more and more until at certain moment it would consume more than it could comprehend and would crash. Also, cinematic mode with no trigger to disable them... yeah...

 

i dont think Elemiire will do that, she has trouble posing things like that so i just dont see it working, although i try to challenge her with poses. any good ideas for challenging poses for me to make her draw when she offhandedly asks me what to draw later?

if not then you are obligated to draw some or have it drawn, is this a road you REALLY want to travel?

 

I want to see as many mods as possible, but I only want to use maybe the top 2 or 3 mods that are produced as a result.

Abundant variation and natural selection, or in this case, my personal selection.

Think going onto a minecraft server with an Xray mod on, giving yourself a direct advantage over other players

 

Personally, I don't care what mods are made. If I don't like them, I won't use them.. won't affect me as long as I can prevent people from using them on my server.

That's a texture pack. Completely different from mods.

EDIT: Xray is a texturepack AND a mod though the mod is playerside and I think servers can detect Xrays easily. Don't know how anyone is going to exploit Starbound.

 

I also don't want to see super huge ships....i'm talking...planet sized

 

Mods I don't wanna see? (no offense to people that like mods) Mods at all. I really dislike mods for some reasons. Only mods that add content though, if it's a mod that don't add content but affects the game in any way (performance, graphics, etc) I don't mind it. But content mods? no pls... Still, if such mods got released, I'd just avoid them.
