Mods you DON'T wanna see

I think a lot of these are more people learning. I know the one (terrible, terrrriibbbllee) mod I made was to get myself familiar with the new way mods worked after the last patch.

 

Your favorite custom race mod must be the Avali race then. It's the exact opposite of what you hate. For me, it's stuff that feels like it wouldn't fit, like the more magical/fantasy race mods and such. Even the Borg race mod is given a justification for how a single Drone got trapped in Starbound, though I admit to bias, the Borg are cool. Oh, I've seen some stuff on the Nexus site that I wish I could unsee.

 

There's this certain Avian mod that burned my eyes for hours. LOL

 

I know exactly which one you're talking about and yes, it is that awful.

 

Ponies. Anime. Various sexual things. Shipping bs. Ridiculously oversized enemies.

 

Y'know you don't HAVE to download the pony mod...

 

I await the Starbound Nexus, with a relentless parade of 'adult' mods.

 

1. Download mod
2. Realize it sucks
3. Uninstall mod
4. Lose character

At least I got an excuse to redesign my ship.

I tried a race mod yesterday and for 1 pixel it gives you a 5000 attack weapon at tier 1. And it made starbound start so slowly because it added tons of new hairs.

And I really don't get why some race mods have underwear color if they don't have a no pants/shirt choice so you can see what color you're making the underwear at character creation.

 

Tellytubbies, Power Rangers, and Anime mods.. I would also say I don't want to see sexual mods, but you all know that's going to happen eventually.

Well crud the Anime mods already started, the others will soon follow. Let's face it, in a heavily modded gaming community, there will be a mod for everything in due time..

 

Theres already adult mods for humans, avians, and apex. The avian one is pretty old.

 

Have to say the only mods I don't like are unfinished, glitchy, or bugged out as hell.
And even in some of those categories there are mods I still like.

Yeah, I could have gone without knowing that there are porn mods of Starbound, you can't even see anything anyway so it was pretty stupid of someone to have made them.

Well in most games that are modable you are going to expect some sort of nude mod, I mean its the internet... and things like that are common... I just cant wait for the future of starbound and all the races that I will be able to choose from.

Still I love/like most all mods, only ones I dislike are ones that don't work
