Mods you DON'T wanna see

but mods are like free DLC. I have a friend who is also (adamantly) against mods, and he doesn't know why, why dont you like mods? (just curious)

and to add the kind of mods i dont want to see, id have to say something that would add a shitton of boons to you, totally easy to do and i can see people doing it then walking into a PVP session and raping everything (like with all the armor bonuses at the same time and all the item bonuses, potions etc.) ive seen things like this done and didn't think about adding it here till yesterday. normally im all for the extra content but this is destructive to game-play. im sure someone will route the problem eventually though.

Zombies mod
Modern Warfare mod
Anything poorly made or done
and Sex/Girlfriend/Stripper/Nudity mod (They're the saddest mods made by the saddest of people)

 

What is MLP

 

I honestly don't like anything that does not fit the canon, so anything that breaks lore I do not like seeing and absolutely will not touch at all. Also super skimpy armors, they're just kinda dumb and honestly (since they're often female-centric) a tad sexist.

Also, MLP because I'm vindictive like that it fits into the above category.

 

My Little Pony, specifically My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic (MLP: FIM)

 

I only dislike mods due to the fact that if I have too many mods, I'll have to wait for updates for the mods when the game updates, and so on... Some mods take a few days to update, some mods could take a month to update... It's annoying. ._.

 

Remember being on a modpack forum for MC, the amount of mods it had and how long it took for all of them to update were the bane of their existence. "Update please." "But X still needs to update, would you want to play with out X?" "Well no, but the wait is killing me."

 

Ponies. No ponies. I have trouble understand how grown men can enjoy that show but I shall not judge.




Just please, no ponies...

That's just boring.
Why put in ponies when you have original lore and races?
Why must ponies be cut and pasted onto everything?

 

An MLP mod.
If you have even remotely any skills with developing mods, don't waste it on that garbage.

The hilarious thing is (for me anyway) that a MLP mod will be one of the first to come out.

 

Honestly I agree on the copy pasting, I don't like mods for anything that take things from pre-established lore (any lore) and tries to put it in somewhere else. I find it lacks creativity, and why would you want to experience the same thing over and over? Work within this NEW lore, this NEW world and do something DIFFERENT, not just take something from something else and attempt to shoehorn it in. Besides, breaking the cohesion of the canon by adding something that doesn't fit ruins the fun for me.

but i do have to agree that alot of mlp mods arnt that good
unles they come from devintart

but weapons inspided by it are ok (basscannon) but not much for character models

I'm guessing he means no Cyber Ninja mod.

 

The mods I want to see: The Doomlaser (A laser that's the drakken laser drill. INFINITE POWAAAAAAAA)
A mod that replaces one of the textures of a dog with a pug!
A reskin for the matter manipulator into the sonic screwdriver.
Mods I will NEVER want to see.
Nude mods. (No. Just. NO.)
My Little Pony. (I don't want to see ponies.)
Hardcore Mods. (Self explanatory.)
Blood&Gore Mods. (This isn't supposed to be that kind of game, or did that change when my back was turned?)
Mods that remove any references to other things.

 

Mods that add a bunch of random crap that makes no sense.

 

I don't get that one, because Warframe, while grindy as fuck, was mechanically quite fun.
Tiresome and repetitive, but what it does well, it does very well.
