Server Help Mods on a server

So is there any way to get custom items onto a server for everyone to use and see?

Well, have you tried? I hear it works just fine if everybody on the server has the mod installed.

 

Is that what i have to do? everyones gotta have it? Because even though I have it, the item is invisible on the server but not singleplayers. Funny enough i can still stand on it in multiplayer.

 

As far as I know yes, but I didn't try yet, just hear it from everywhere in the modding section. Mods that only use files that are already in the game like the scrapped space station are reported to work even if the rest of the players dont have the mod, since the files are there anyways.

 

The space station only works for other players if they're humans.

 

You mean using the space station as their ship, right? If a human character has the station as his ship, say, Avians would be still able to see it, correct?

 

Only human characters can see the space station ship mod if they don't have it installed, but humans have only two of the backgrounds the space station ship uses. All other races would need the mod installed to see it.
