Mods messing with Farm Events?

I'm using relatively few mods, mostly aesthetic stuff, but for some reason no farm events are triggering, except for stuff like fairies, but no pets, had to cheat in furnace recipe, etc etc

I do have a customized map, could that be messing with it? Any ideas on how to fix it?

FYI, idk if this has any bearing, but mailbox stuff and events not on the farm work fine
