Mods & Friends

    How will mods work for everyone as a group. Does everyone in the multiplayer game have to have the same mods? Or if one player has a mod another doesn't, will the player who doesn't just see the default? Not only mods, mind you but files you change. Example, changing the .xnb file for my cows to make them look different.

    I'm assuming you can't have a modded farm because then everyone doing multiplayer would have entire game downloads full of those files to work it... unless it just defaults to what you have on your computer. Does that make sense? Example, in Torchlight II you had to have the same exact mods, no more no less, to play with someone.

    Search isn't yielding results so I'm sorry if this has been asked a bunch (or is common knowledge)

      I hosted a game and found that the player who joined me was able to use mods that I do not have installed.
