Closed Mod uninstalling, FormatException error, please help.

    I installed Creative mode mod just so I can easily build my ship with FCS mod. But I also got all the blueprints, techs and tools I didn't want to keep so I wanted to uninstall that Creative mode after I was done with the ship, now I can't access that character.
    I keep getting this message:

    I tried to reinstall the mod and remove the mod tech and items with inventory editor but it still doesn't work. Is there a way to reset some parts of my character? Like the blueprints and techs without destroying the ship and reseting it's position in universe(I have some original ship things on that planet)?
     
  2. If there is something the mod added to the players inventory, it's highly unlikely you'll be able to salvage the character. You can try removing the .metadata file associated to the character (should help if it's just modded recipes).

    Already tried that, nothing worked, I kinda already lost hope and made a new character, the only thing I was able to save was that ship I made...

    Nah, nevermind, I should have been more careful with mods.
    For other people, be careful with mods, I myself prefer just some vanilla compatible ones that use only existing in-game assets, this one really wasn't and I didn't noticed because I haven't read most of the important stuff in the description.

    Try enabling mod, then disable all of the equipped technologies or try locking in basic vanilla ones like energy dash in all four slots.

    As I said, it was impossible to access that character even when I put that mod back in the game, I even tried to remove the techs and items with inventory editor but I only managed to remove some tool from my inventory, the tech wasn't showing itself in that editor. The character is still accessible after all that. But I might actually try that locking thing.
