Hi! I'd like to mention that this is my first post here. Nice to meet y'all. Anyway, in my SDV save, I'm playing as Link - I look exactly as I do in my profile picture. The look is near perfect - all I'm missing is Link's trademark cap. Can someone mod it in? I'd be very thankful. I don't know how I'd repay you other than with me deepest thanks, but still, it'd mean a lot.
The only thing for making the noise would be I suppose changing the sounds that tools make on impact? Like instead of the casting sound of a fishing rod it would be the grunt/shout. I've no idea how to mod sound in this game though. trying to figure out how to get xnb's into pngs
Oh, well the post was originally just for the hat. I added the sounds into the post after initially writing it. Forget about the sounds. Although the Master Sword would be cool. Maybe you could find it in the forest.
I had some idea for more hats , curiosity but stuck in a laziness between searching how to mod this game or making new things in game wizard hat and top hat especially
Top hat is already in the game, you can get it from the Calico Desert Casino for 8,000 Qi Coins (equivalent to 80,000 G). Anyway, made a draft sprite sheet for a cap design. Not quite satisfied with the back and don't have the time to make it into a finished mod right now, but it is a start.
^Wow, thanks! I've decided I'm going to try my hand at modding and make my own hat and we'll see if it turns out a-okay. Although I've run into a little problem and I've posted that on the modding gd redux.
Update! I'm having trouble with getting the hat into the right placement for Link's head. So with that, I guess the request is back open. Could someone make the hat for me please?
I'm bumping this because I would love to see the hat become a reality. Maybe as a hat replacement for the 15K achievement?
