Modding Discussion [Mod Request] Compass/GPS to mark critical areas

I've been running into critical or special areas, like doors that leads you to challenge rooms or gnomes colonies with lots of silver and gold, yesterday I had a very hard time reaching again the challenge doors, so it crossed my mind if someone could do a device to plant in a determined area so you could return there quickly without having to look for it through the entire dungeon again. Similar to Memento Mori.

 

You can teleport to flags that you have placed down, you just can't use them to teleport away like teleporters, flags are also very cheap.
So I don't see why we would need a mod for this.

 

But can you teleport to flags that are under the surface of the planet?

 

Yes. Survival and Hardcore players will not be able to teleport out normally, however.
