Hi everyone, I'm Minty, and this is my robot, Robot ! (I found myself lacking inspiration at that time, not that it happens often) We're very happy to join the Starbound forums ! Aren't you, Robot ?! This is the first time I join game forums before the game even enters beta ! This is also one of the highest exclamation marks per sentence rate I have ever achieved ! That's just how excited I am ! Why, one might ask ? Here are a few reasons, listed for your convenience : - I like indie games in general, zomg I'm such a hipster. I was kidding, of course. - I played Minecraft and Terraria, and enjoyed both. Now I know Starbound is not Terraria (I had the decency to lurk before joining), and I'm not here to rage about Terraria. - I like (very) open-world adventure RPGs, and what greater playground is there than Space itself ? - I very much want to play God in biology and genetics. - Starbound appears to have these elements rolled up in a single, gorgeous 16-bit game. Oh, and Robot agrees with me. Now, to plead for my being accepted in the community : - I'm polite. - I'm enthusiastic. - I like role-playing. - I sometimes have random good ideas. There goes ! Hoping to participate a lot on these forums ! Addenda : yes, I did read forum rules. And yes, my avatar is lacking. I am posting this from a rather decrepit computer, unable to handle pictures very well. I shall remedy to it.
