Closed Mini boss at the start of the game.

Hello there,

Just to warn that you might, at the very beginning, encounter an enemy that hits you for 100 (I assume it's a mini boss). The problem is that you do not have any fuel, so you cannot change your location for another planet. And because the mini boss will not move from the place you spawn, you are doomed to be one shot every time you try to go on your starting planet.

The mini boss was not ON the spawn, he was meters away, but just meters.

 

I think minibosses are procedurally decided. So your particular spawn planet had one. Not everyone does I think.

 

Both lucky and unlucky. Unlucky because he'll mess you up until you figure out a way to beat him, like using a bow where he cant get you or something. Lucky because minibosses always drop legendary weapons. You could get a pretty good piece of loot from him.

 

Not always. Out of 3 mini bosses I only got a legendary weapon once. The two others dropped slightly above average stuff only.

 

Only to have your character deleted next build. Woe is the life of a Beta tester!

 

Sure but that would be interesting to know if those mini bosses are supposed to drop legendary stuff at all time or if it based on a drop rate only.

 

Nah totally unlucky on this one, because this is at the VERY beginning. I have only a broken sword, and the boss is ON the spawn and so one shot me before the loading is even complete .
I have to abandon the character, but yup, perks of being a beta tester. I'm just here to report this might be a problem for the next versions of the game.

 

You could actually try to join a Public Multiplayer server and get some progress, or even enough fuel to change planets and come back later
