Minecraft Cameos?

I think many people would be happy to see minecraft cameos (because minecraft was SOO big), like creepers, pickaxe references, and hopefully a NOTCH NPC!!! This game would be epic with Notch in it, and probably a Chucklefish NPC too! These are just some fun ideas I've thought about!
Comment if you want to say something, like if you don't know what to say, or do both and be proud of yourself for over-acheiving.

Well a Creeper cameo has already been stated as being in the game, since Notch already gave permission for that I don't see any of these other references as being too far fetched.

 

I think a small reference is enough, considering its not just minecraft getting a tip of the hat but a number of others as well.

It's always cool to see how devs and teams give their influences a nod in their own creations, just in small doses I guess?

 

I dislike Starbound because of the creeper implementation. I just simply hate game references as a whole.

 

Don't think I saw exactly how it was gong to be in the game...were they adding the creeper as a mob or just a picture of one on a poster or....?

The creeper probably won't be a mob, even if Minecraft did inspire Starbound somewhat.
