Meteor showers

What about with the Asteroids, you can also fight off whatever corruption that keeps on appearing on those tentacle planets and it might even have a miniboss in which if he hits you, it has a small chance to infect you. If your infected, a timer starts to countdown and you have til then to cure yourself or BOOM! A corrupted you... that you have to fight and will stay there until you destroy it. Even if you die by monsters or physics you are still turned into the creature. The reason why you're allowed to fight yourself as... well yourself is because each respawn animation reminds me of cloning. You fight you and whatever weapon(s) you had in your hand when you died (And I mean you had selected in the Left and Right hand slot), so in a sense it's like your fighting you. Your corrupted copy would still be wearing the armor you died with and you will have quite a match if you have a lot of end-game equipment. Think of it as a final boss that you could fight in Sector X maybe.

Well, at least I know to build my home in an Asteroid field... in space... and make it a prison...

 

A planet in the making - constant meteor shower 24/7. That would be amazing.
