I know. This may be more work than necessary, but I mean, I have some original races of my own and I can't very well exclude Avali and include those, can I?

Okay, I might not have specified this outright, but no guns. Sorry if there's been any confusion. I believe molotovs of a sort are makeable with the current tech, however. Also, the beam thing is technically okay, though I have no idea why it would have that effect on him. Ah well.... who can fathom the mind of whoever made that little piece of tech? Not anyone here, that's for sure.
If I was carry three crossbows it'd be the same setup at the guns. Two small hand-crossbows and one extra large crossbow for greater power and distance. I guess its just a little hard for me to imagine novakids without their guns or some kind of substitute at times..
I don't think crossbows are one-handed. So unless one is a backup, I don't understand why you'd need two.
There are hand crossbows in D&D, which more often than not takes place in a fantasy setting. However, using two at once quickly slows down how fast you can fire them. He'd be better off with a bag of throwing knives or something similar, if you're looking for a fast draw.
Oh my, what's this now? Why fortuna looks like quite a lovely place to visit. Hmm, maybe I'll go there some day.
it would be funny to have them on two sides of the street, each pulling higher and higher tricks to win customers
Ehehehe. This looks fabulously entertaining. Why was I not aware of this earlier!?! Give me a couple hours. Is there any information about the Green Army that I can use to make a character?
This catches my eye. Things that catch my eye are neat This is neat Therefore I must join this for it is neat Just one question though, are there going to be real animals or more alien things? It has a small significance to the character I'm thinking of. They're going to be a hunter/archer person.
Go to our private convo, we can discuss this there. I have something planned for the Green Army, but I don't feel the need to advertise what it is. Both, I think. Some real animals and some alien.
Name: Fieke Schmidt Gender: Female Race: Human Occupation: Mechanic and ‘Acquisition Specialist’ (Call her a thief and she’ll threaten to cut out your tongue) Age: Early Twenties Build: Lean and flexible. Appearance: Having originally come from a country in the north, she is usually seen wearing a hooded travelling coat, that seems far too warm for the local climate. Included to her attire is a backpack for her kit, and a tendency to carry her crowbar like a cane. Belongings: Among her assorted tools, such as lockpicks, she also regularly carries a langesmesser and a crowbar. Should she be caught in a long ranged fight, she carries a set of throwing darts. Strengths: She has extensive technical knowledge dealing with locks, traps and other mechanisms. She is self sufficient and a survivor, feeling should not need to rely on anyone else. When it comes to fights, she won't bother with this silly honour business, low blows and other dirty tricks are not above her. Flaws: “Trust is a weakness” is practically her motto, and she is loner because of it. Being a foreigner certainly doesn’t help, her accent and occasional return to her native language might make communication difficult, and those who are xenophobic might refuse to deal with her. Backstory: A foreigner to the country of Fortuna, having come from the more frostbitten north. Fieke Has always had a fascination with machinery; however having been living a life of poverty, she was forced to steal to afford or acquire the devices she wished to study. Before long she discovered she also had a talent in the robber’s ‘trade’ and her knowledge of mechanical devices such as locks and traps certainly aided in those endeavours. Before long however, her misdeeds caught up with her, forcing her to flee her homeland, and eventually end up in Fortuna.
