mechanic crew

    so recently i've made a settlement on a forest planet around a gentle star, and for some reason most of the people who want to join me have are all mechanics, out of six crew i have 5 mechanics and 1 soldier, i kinda wanted a wider selection of crew but no one wants to do anything else. is there something i have missed with recruiting?

    No but it may help if you have different kinds of villagers and if you complete bandit/fight missions for them.
