That's the mech unlock quest right?
If so that is a known bug, just try again, i haven't found a way to fix that yet sadly.

I've noticed an issue with this and Many Tabs.

I did a big derp on the first one, that was just a placeholder fix, i'm gonna try to fix that on the next update, but it's working normally yeah?

The second one happens because of the overhaul on mech legs that was provided by the modular edition of XS Mechs, it is basically the base of my mod, so i fear there's not much i can do
right now to fix that, what i can do on the future however, is release a version of this mod without this leg thing, to make it more compatible with modded mech parts.

Yeah, on closer inspection i don't really see a way to make the first one more clean looking, mainly because of code restrictions.

For this bug techs are also disabled can't be used, it will give the game a performance boost though I think your on to something

Hey, I'm having an issue where all my previous characters who had mechs are now completely locked out from them.

 

Scratch that, I just straight up can't use mechs anymore.

And I am willing to bet its because of a mod conflict, and not the mod. Provide a log or he won't be able to help.

 

It seems I've also got locked out from using mechs, does XS corporation mechs isn't compatible with this mod? i'll try removing it for now

it seems XSCM doesn't have anything to do with it, removed it, bug persists
tried going into admin mode and re-completing the mech unlock quest with "/completequest mechunlock" command
didn't do anything either.
I have no Idea what to do, since I can't mess around with .pak's

Playing a Frackin Universe playthrough of the mod, and the Expansion Slot won't let me put the actual item in. And I am playing with the Cosmetic Slots for Mechs mod also.

 

Thats because you cant use Mech Overhaul with FU. FU incorporates an altered form of it, making the two completely incompatible.
