brings new meaning to "mystery meat".... I think that the meat should be called mystery meat because after all it comes from space(and we could have mystery bacon, sausage, steak, burgers you name it!) maybe for a description something along the lines of "meat of an unknown origin but its really tasty!" (of course each race would have their own but could work for humans)

This "what-if xkcd" came to mind once I read the title of this thread: http://what-if.xkcd.com/4/ (WARNING: contains math ) I can just imagine chunks of bacon raining upon the planet, signaling the impending flaming sphere of meat as it eventually impacts, embedding meat deep into the planet's core.
